Funniest ever journey?
Many! Doing hand brake turns with Formula 1’s Jenson Button in a Vito and him asking me if I would drive for him in Monaco, running out of petrol with one of the Italian Prime Minister’s ministers, not being able to start the car after two supermodels had been using my key to snort illicit substances.
Strangest thing you have ever found left in the vehicle by a passenger?
The worst passenger you have ever had…
Any blogger or social media type wanting to go everywhere for their “free holiday” and calling you “driver “ all the time.
Most famous passengers you have driven…
I cannot say but I can give you a clue. He’s in the Rolling Stones and his daughter has a house here…
Have you ever caught people having sex in your vehicle?
If they do I turn the music up and take the bends at 80 kmph….a very famous Italian socialite was not put off at all though. No messing my seats please…
Most unusual request from a passenger?
How much does the whole island cost?
Can it be a dangerous job?
It can, especially at night when the taxi drivers race around as if their wife is giving birth…

How long have you been driving in Ibiza : More than a decade
What car do you drive : Minibus 13 & 17 seater
The funniest journey you have ever had in Ibiza?
Working for Guy Laliberté’s infamous Can Soleil parties, they dress up our minibuses so people are always excited straight from the first minute being driven to the party.
Lots and lots of knickers and bras.
The usual. Very drunk clients who are sick all over the minibus.
I would rather not disclose as privacy is key here but actors, comedian’s, singers and footballer’s have all been shuttles around in our minibuses.
DJs are generally rude passengers. Discuss.
I would have to disagree, we have driven DJ’s such as Carl Cox, Sasha, Hosh, DJ Sneak all of which where very friendly.
Yes, I had to stop and turn on the light with all of their friends clapping.
Most unusual request from a passenger?
We got asked once from a client if we could supply a stripper with the minibus.
Why do you love your job so much?
You meet lots of people from all around the world and the tips can on occasion be very good.

Are there a lot of female taxi drivers on the island?
It’s true that we have a lot of women taxi drivers in a world that many people still consider exclusively male. This is something that a los of tourists are curious about, because in their home countries it is still a sector dominated by men, although they usually add that they like it because women are more prudent.
What security measures do you take?
As a taxi driver? Courtesy, respect and common sense.
A bag full of wedding invitations.
Who is your worst customer?
Anyone who smells bad, I can’t stand that.
What do you always take with you?
Have you ever caught a couple getting down and dirty in your taxi?
They’d better not dare.
What’s the most amusing thing that’s ever happened in your taxi?
Since I work in TV, I think it’s funny every time someone gets in my taxi and recognizes me they’re surprised to see me behind the wheel.
