The opening of Heart in 2015 was one of Ibiza’s biggest ever culinary events. Born after a conversation with the world acclaimed Adrià brothers and Guy Laliberté, the director of the legendary Cirque Du Soleil. Together they set to push all boundaries by creating one on the most innovative and avant-garde dining experiences the world has ever seen. This year however Adrià and his team have turned their focus closer to home concentrating on the provenance of the island. “Although our ingredients come from all parts of Spain, we are currently looking for produce from Ibiza and celebrating it’s gastronomic culture.” admits Adrià. “I have no doubts that the clients of 2017 will enjoy a huge experience in all senses, as our priority has always been the quality”. In true homage to Spain we can still expect to see some of Adrià’s immortal creations like the ‘olive spherifications’ (a olive juice sphere that bursts in your mouth), the finest Jamón Cinco Jotas 100% Ibérico and gravity defying tostada that is so light it could float into space. All this whilst you experience a fantastical, spectacular Cirque Du Soleil performance…truly a once in a lifetime gastrovisual extravaganza. “This season we return once again to explore the circus and comedy of the classic arts” explains Laliberté. “Heart truly is a laboratory of experiences and art.” Sit back, enjoy and expect the unexpected.
