Following its recent opening in Miami, the restaurant TATEL is continuing its expansion and disembarking on the beachfront in Ibiza. TATEL, the new restaurant concept promoted by world-famous Spaniards Pau Gasol, Enrique Iglesias and Rafael Nadal and entrepreneurs Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos, has just opened a new restaurant in Ibiza. Located on Playa d’en Bossa, between Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel, TATEL Ibiza, has an Art Déco style created by Italian design studio Ilmiodesing and enough capacity to seat over 300 people. The venue covers an area over 1,250 square feet, with a beachfront terrace, a large dining room with a bar and an indoor terrace with sea views, plus another more private space that is perfect for VIP parties, as well as an emblematic copper DJ booth that will be used to pipe out Ushuaïa-brand music live. TATEL Madrid’s menu has moved to Ibiza hand-in-hand with Head Chef Nacho Chicharro, and respects the brand’s basic premises: maximum respect for the product, updated traditional recipes, seasonal Spanish cuisine and market-fresh produce as the protagonist. Must-try dishes include the likes of truffle omelette, and black cod and red tuna tartar appear side-by-side with more summery fare such as alive lettuce salads, cold soups, oysters and caviar. ROunding off this culinary experience, TATEL has an exceptional wine cellar and a wine list with several references inspired by Spain but open to the world.
