Can Dani embraces Mediterranean cuisine with great originality and flair. Its exceptional food, created by the wonderfully imaginative and highly revered head chef Ana Jiménez, has made it the only restaurant in the Pitiusas to have garnered a Michelin star. Starters this season include the ‘coca’ Galician beef with sundried tomatoes, pine nuts, capers and Manchego cheese, and a langoustine carpaccio with vermouth, mango, lime and pistachio salt. For mains, there are numerous innovative meat and seafood dishes – our pick is the smoked sea bass with sea pesto and beetroot. Jiménez is Catalan, though now resides on the island and works passionately to source local seasonal products, delivering a truly authentic experience of outstanding quality. Situated at kilometre 8.5 on the road to La Mola.
